The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee includes representatives of PHS Quality & Safety, Health Care Redesign, and Primary Care Practice Transformation Leadership, who work with a core Executive Council comprised of representative highly experienced educators from a number of PHS affiliate institutions. The Executive Council meets monthly and parameters have been established to allow the CPD office staff to approve programs on an ongoing basis in order to expedite processing. The entire CPD Committee convenes three times a year and virtually by email on an ad hoc basis, to align program development with system wide strategic priorities.
